The UK's most easterly Folk & Arts festival celebrates its 12th Anniversary amongst the ancient oaks on the Glemham Hall Estate from 16-18 August 2024.

It will be the 12th year for England’s most easterly folk festival which will once again be staged – for the final time - in the idyllic fields and woodland of Glemham Hall

Dynamic drummers, a cool Swedish sister act and one of UK folk’s hottest properties are among the latest names playing this year.

New names confirmed for the line up are The Dhol Foundation, bringing their bhangra bonanza to the main Sunset stage on the Saturday. Led by the irrepressible Johnny Kalsi, they will get the joint jumping with their double-headed drum extravaganza. See https://youtu.be/IEJ7N50HZ2Q

Variously described as ‘a Swedish alt-Americana folk rock band’ and ‘The queens of banjopunk’, Baskery are sisters Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson who have played music since they were old enough to hold an instrument. Their sound oozes style and playfulness and has seen them accrue a number of plaudits and accolades as well as supporting the legendary Robbie Williams on tour. 

And there will be a welcome return by stand-out singer-songwriter Katherine Priddy, one of the fastest rising stars of the UK folk scene whose latest album The Pendulum Swings has been making waves this year. 

The new names join an already enviable line-up. Heading from Madrid to get the festival off to a buoyant start on Thursday evening will be the irrepressible Track Dogs –with their infectious fusion of folk, Latino, Americana and roots music.

Other top names include award-winning  Orcadian singer- songwriter Kris Drever, Peter Knight’s Gigspanner Big Band, outstanding young English folk trio Granny’s Attic, the Young’uns award-winning songwriter Sean Cooney joining forces with Sam Carter, Melrose Quartet , Fay Hield Trio , Rag Mama Rag, Essex-based King Driscolls, Angeline Morrison Band, cellist-singer Sarah Smout, Windjammer, Blowzabella, Topette!! , Suffolk’s own well-loved husband and wife duo Honey and the Bear and one of British folk’s most innovative artists, Jim Moray.

The 2024 event will be played out on five stages – Sunset main stage, Moot Hall, Stage in the Woods, Sanctuary Space and the Dance stage while the event’s three pubs will be alive with singarounds and sessions.
